In virtue of what Ukaji said, we are obliged to write about English. So I'm going to write the reason, I don't like Japanese Rock. I often listen to American, or English rock bands. Such as, red hot chili peppers, the eagles and Queen. The only time I listen to Japanese rock bands, is when I need to practice their songs.
The reason I don't listen to them is simple but I definitely consider that no one is going to agree with it. I think the language "Japanese" doesn't make an hermoney with guitars. It comforts my nerves when I hear the sound of a guitar followed by "English" lyrics. My father once said, "In English you can express more than Japanese in a given amount of time." I strongly agree with this. For Example, in one syllable Japanese can only say a letter, however on the other hand, English is able to say a word. Therefore I think that English poems, and song have more ability to transfer messages to the listeners.
I don't hate Japanese, but that was the reason I don't listen to Japanese Rock bands. I know most of you who is reading this doesn't agree with me, or doesn't understand what I'm writing about, but that was my selfish explanation to my point of view of music.
